All You Can Eat Sushi at Pod

Despite this being planned for months, I forgot and had already agreed to go to a seder earlier this night. The seder was awesome (my first!) but I was so full from all the great food that I couldn't eat anything at Pod.

It was great to see Poliana again, and to finally meet Jen, Severin, and their friend Mike.

Yogorino & Yelp (Okay, Flickr fun too)

Yogorino Mini with Ciocco Torrone (2)

I haven't been on Yelp in ages, and I was inspired tonight by Yogorino's opening (at 20th & Locust) to write a review...

On to the froyo itself! There are four sizes: mini ($2.95), small ($3.95), medium ($4.95), and large ($6.00). The yogurt itself is made from organic 2% milk - tasty, slightly tart, and with a very smooth consistency

and post some pictures on Flickr...

Writing reviews is kind of fun! Especially of local neighborhood-type places. Until I start that Washington Square West/Gayborhood/Midtown Village blog that I twittered about (Chrissy & Greg were interested), this is a pretty good substitute!

El Jarocho in South Philly [food photos]

Wee recommended this place at 13th & Ellsworth after he saw my tweet / Facebook status update about eating at Taqueria Veracruzana. After hanging out today at the park, John, Helmut, & I decided to try it out. Franco & Luigi's Pastaria was the other choice, but Mexican won out over Italian. It was the right choice!
