So usually I'm not completely ignorant of what's going on in pop music, but I was totally taken by surprise catching up on SNL when the musical artist was Bruno Mars. Who's that? I completely forgot about him until insomnia last night drove me to catch up on my YouTube subscriptions. I don't follow that many people, for some reason mostly minor Asian American YouTube singer/celebrities. It turns out that they all have covered Bruno Mars' Just The Way You Are.
Not Joseph Vincent's best work, but his hotness tends to make up for any musical shortcomings:
Not sure what Sam Tsui was going for here, I think the acoustic piano combined with the lack of any real bottom to his voice made this the least interesting cover of all of them. Also, fake sultry looks at the camera don't work for you, Sam:
